The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is taking a long break: what is known
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has announced a break in its work. Deputies will not hold sessions from September 17 to October 13. This pause will last for a total of 26 days.
This was announced by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak. According to him, this decision is related to the current financial situation in the country. The state is currently facing a budget deficit, which creates certain challenges for the economy.
Experts note that a long break in the parliament's work could affect the speed of passing important decisions. In particular, there are risks of delays in receiving international financial aid, which is critically important for Ukraine under wartime conditions.
Currently, the government and parliament continue to work on finding ways to overcome the financial crisis. Citizens and international partners are waiting for the legislative body to resume full operation after the break ends, in order to ensure the stability of state payments and support for the economy.
