Ukraine and Spain agree on new financial aid for reconstruction
Ukraine and Spain have signed important agreements regarding support for the restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure. Following the meeting of the intergovernmental commission, the parties agreed on a package of financial and insurance assistance totaling 570 million euros.
These funds will be directed toward the implementation of projects that will help restore destroyed facilities and support the country's economic stability. The main focus is on cooperation in the areas of energy, transport, and social infrastructure.
In addition to funding, the agreement provides for insurance mechanisms for Spanish companies planning to work in Ukraine. This will allow for the attraction of more private investment and technology for the reconstruction of affected regions.
Representatives of both governments emphasized that such support is part of a long-term partnership between the countries. Spain continues to provide assistance to Ukraine, demonstrating solidarity in overcoming the consequences of military actions.
This agreement is an important step in strengthening economic ties between Kyiv and Madrid. It is expected that the first stages of project implementation will begin in the near future.
