Life in the capital is getting more expensive: inflation in Kyiv has outpaced national figures
In July 2026, a noticeable increase in consumer prices was recorded in Kyiv. According to the latest data, the cost of goods and services in the capital increased by 1.1% compared to June.
This figure differs significantly from the general situation in Ukraine. On average across the country, inflation for the same period was only 0.3%. Thus, the rate of price growth in Kyiv turned out to be almost four times higher than in the rest of the country's regions.
