Ukraine and the Netherlands launch a joint grant program for defense technologies
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, together with the government of the Netherlands, has announced the launch of a large-scale project called Brave Netherlands. This initiative is aimed at supporting Ukrainian developers who are creating innovative solutions in the field of defense technology, known as defense tech.
The total budget of the program is 20 million euros. These funds will be allocated as grants for Ukrainian companies and startups working on technologies that can strengthen the country's defense capabilities. The project is being implemented with the participation of the Brave1 defense cluster, which actively helps to introduce new developments into the Ukrainian army.
The main goal of the cooperation is to accelerate the creation and scaling of effective technological solutions on the battlefield. It is expected that the financial support will allow Ukrainian engineers to test their inventions faster and supply them to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This program is an important step in strengthening the international partnership between Ukraine and the Netherlands. It not only provides the necessary resources for the development of technologies but also demonstrates the trust of European partners in the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex.
