Fozzy Group suspends hiring due to the aftermath of Russian attacks
One of Ukraine's largest retailers, Fozzy Group, has announced a forced change to its personnel policy. Due to constant shelling by Russia, the company is compelled to optimize its resources in order to continue operations under martial law.
Fozzy Group includes well-known supermarket chains such as Silpo, Fora, Thrash!, and Fozzy wholesale hypermarkets. The company has suffered significant losses due to the destruction of warehouse facilities and damage to retail outlets in various regions of the country.
The company's management called the decision to stop hiring new employees "difficult, but necessary." Cost optimization will allow the business to maintain the stability of its networks and provide Ukrainians with food products despite the difficult security situation.
Currently, Fozzy Group continues to assess the scale of the destruction and is working on restoring logistics chains. Despite the difficulties, the retailer remains one of the key employers in Ukraine and continues to fulfill its obligations to customers.
