Germany to transfer energy system equipment to Ukraine

German energy company SEFE has announced plans to transfer equipment from a combined heat and power (CHP) plant that was previously located in Lubmin to Ukraine. This station was connected to the infrastructure of the Nord Stream gas pipeline.

The process of preparing the equipment for shipment has already begun. Company specialists are currently dismantling the machinery to prepare it for transport. This equipment will help strengthen the Ukrainian energy system, which has suffered significant damage due to Russian shelling.

Representatives of SEFE emphasize that the transfer of these capacities is part of their support for Ukraine in the energy sector. The German side is working to deliver the necessary components as quickly as possible to restore a stable supply of electricity and heat to the Ukrainian people.

At this time, the exact completion dates for the work are not being disclosed, as dismantling large energy facilities requires time and complex logistical solutions. However, this step serves as an important signal of international support for Ukraine's energy security ahead of the coming seasons.
