Key takeaways from the YES forum: on security, Ukraine's future, and partner support
The annual Yalta European Strategy (YES) meeting has concluded in Kyiv. This event served as a platform for discussing the most critical issues concerning Ukraine's future, the continued fight against the aggressor, and the strengthening of international ties. Military commanders, Ukrainian government officials, and representatives of foreign states took part in the discussions.
One of the main topics was defense and frontline strategy. Unit commanders, including Andriy Biletsky and Denys Prokopenko, emphasized the importance of the army's technological development and the efficient use of resources. They stressed that modern warfare requires not only the courage of soldiers but also constant modernization of weaponry and the coordinated work of all units.
International partners also expressed their position regarding support for Ukraine. Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, during his speech, focused on the importance of unity among European countries. He noted that Ukraine's security is an integral part of the stability of the entire European continent, which is why aid to Kyiv remains a priority for many EU and NATO member states.
Forum participants also discussed post-war reconstruction and Ukraine's integration into European structures. Experts emphasized that reforms must continue even during martial law, as this is a guarantee of a successful future and trust from international investors.
Summarizing the results of the meeting, it can be said that the dialogue between Ukraine and its partners remains constructive. The YES forum once again confirmed that the world continues to closely monitor events in Ukraine, and support for our state remains strategically important for global security.
