Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Poland for supporting Ukraine on Independence Day
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude to Poland for the constant assistance and support provided to our state. The occasion for this was a greeting from Karol Nawrocki, President of the Institute of National Remembrance of Poland, sent on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.
In his address, the Ukrainian leader emphasized the importance of strong relations between the two countries. He stressed that the Ukrainian people will always remember the help that Poland has provided since the first days of the full-scale invasion. This support concerns humanitarian issues, as well as military aid and shelter for millions of Ukrainians.
Poland remains one of Ukraine's main allies on the international stage. The country actively advocates for strengthening sanctions against the aggressor and supports Kyiv's European integration aspirations. Such diplomatic steps and the exchange of greetings between officials confirm the strategic partnership between the states.
In conclusion, the President noted that the joint struggle for freedom and democratic values unites Ukrainians and Poles. Such gestures of gratitude strengthen trust between the nations and help maintain unity during difficult times for all of Europe.
