Second wave of grant program for student startups launched in Ukraine
The IT Ukraine Association has announced the launch of the "Student Startup Fund 2.0" program. This initiative is aimed at supporting young Ukrainian entrepreneurs who have innovative ideas in the technology sector. The goal of the project is to help students turn their academic developments into real businesses capable of operating in the international market.
As part of the program, participants will receive not only financial assistance but also professional training. Mentors from leading IT companies will advise students on creating business plans, finding investors, and developing products. This gives young people the opportunity to gain practical experience that is difficult to acquire solely through university studies.
The organizers note that this year, special attention is being paid to projects that can be useful for the recovery of Ukraine or for supporting the economy under martial law. These could include solutions in the fields of cybersecurity, education, energy, or agrotechnology. Participation in the program is free for students of all Ukrainian higher education institutions.
To become a participant in "Student Startup Fund 2.0," you must submit an application on the official website of the IT Ukraine Association. After the best ideas are selected, the teams will go through a series of workshops and pitching sessions where they can present their projects to experts. The winners will receive grants for the further development of their startups.
This program is an important step for the development of the Ukrainian technology sector. Supporting young talent today creates a foundation for Ukraine's future success in the global digital economy.
