Ukrainian Red Cross helped over 74,000 people in six months
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society has released a report on its activities for the first half of 2026. According to official data, more than 74,000 citizens received assistance through disease prevention and health promotion programs.
These initiatives are aimed at teaching people how to take care of their physical well-being in difficult conditions. Volunteers and specialists from the organization hold information sessions where they explain how to prevent the spread of diseases and why it is important to see doctors in a timely manner.
Red Cross programs cover various regions of the country, helping both internally displaced persons and local residents. In addition to medical consultations, the organization provides basic support to those most in need of medical supervision.
Representatives of the Society note that work in this area will continue. The main goal is to ensure access to quality health information for as many Ukrainians as possible in order to reduce the risks of serious health problems in the future.
