Ukrzaliznytsia and Spain's Renfe sign a strategic partnership agreement
JSC Ukrzaliznytsia and the Spanish railway operator Renfe have signed a memorandum of strategic partnership. This agreement is aimed at developing rail connections between Ukraine and European Union countries, as well as improving the quality of passenger transportation.
Cooperation between the companies involves the exchange of experience in the field of train maintenance and the implementation of modern European service standards. The Spanish side plans to provide consultations on integrating the Ukrainian railway network into the European transport system.
Special attention in the memorandum is paid to issues of safety and infrastructure modernization. Both operators plan to work together on projects that will help simplify travel for Ukrainians heading to Europe, in particular through the development of high-speed routes.
This partnership is an important step for the European integration of the Ukrainian railway. Thanks to the experience of Renfe, which is one of the leaders in Europe, Ukrzaliznytsia will be able to adapt more quickly to the requirements of the European market and increase comfort for passengers.
