Pentagon urges world to continue supporting Ukraine due to Russia's force regeneration
The Deputy Secretary of Defense stated that the Russian Federation is actively working to restore its military capabilities. In this regard, the international community must maintain a high level of assistance to Ukraine to effectively defend its territories.
According to the American official, the Russian army is adapting to the conditions of a protracted war. The occupiers are attempting to compensate for losses in equipment and personnel, which creates additional challenges for the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the front line.
A representative of the U.S. Department of Defense emphasized that stable support from partners is critically important. This concerns not only the supply of weapons and ammunition but also long-term training programs for Ukrainian soldiers, which allow for the effective use of modern technologies on the battlefield.
Currently, Ukraine continues to receive aid packages from many countries around the world. Western governments emphasize that Ukraine's success in resisting aggression is a guarantee of stability and security throughout Europe.
The situation on the front remains tense, so the issue of defense assistance remains a top priority in international politics. It is expected that new meetings of allies will take place in the near future to discuss further steps in supporting the Ukrainian army.
