Voting for the Best Astrophoto of 2026 has started in Ukraine
The annual "Best Astrophoto 2026" contest has begun in Ukraine, showcasing the beauty of the cosmos through the eyes of Ukrainian photographers. Participants from across the country have submitted their work, featuring distant nebulae, bright comets, the Milky Way, and our Sun.
This contest has become an important event for the community of astronomers and night sky enthusiasts. The organizers note that, despite difficult conditions, Ukrainian masters continue to create impressive images that popularize science and astronomy among young people.
A selection of the best works, chosen by the jury, has now been published on the official contest website. Anyone interested can view these photos and take part in the voting to choose the winner in the audience choice category.
The organizers invite everyone to support these talented photographers. Voting will continue over the next few weeks, after which the results and the names of the authors of the most popular images of the year will be announced.
