US preparing new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine
The United States of America plans to finalize a new military aid package for Ukraine by the end of September. The total value of this support is nearly 400 million dollars. These funds were previously approved by the US Congress to meet the defense needs of our state.
The new package will include various types of weapons and ammunition necessary to maintain the combat effectiveness of the Ukrainian army. Government officials note that this is an important step for strengthening Ukraine's security in the face of a prolonged war.
At the same time, it has become known that this specific aid package does not include the supply of new interceptor missiles for Patriot air defense systems. Despite this, the US continues to work on other ways to support Ukrainian air defense.
This aid is part of a broader partnership strategy between Kyiv and Washington. It is expected that all procedures for processing the shipments will be completed by the end of the current month, which will allow for the prompt delivery of the necessary equipment to the front line.
