Ukrainian ice cream becomes the leader in dairy exports
In June 2026, Ukraine demonstrated new results in the field of foreign trade in dairy products. Despite an overall decline in export volumes, the ice cream category has taken first place among all dairy products exported from the country.
In total, during the first month of summer, Ukraine exported 11.53 thousand tons of dairy products. The total value of these goods amounted to 35.06 million dollars. This indicates that Ukrainian producers continue to operate and seek new sales markets even in difficult economic conditions.
Experts note that the overall natural export volumes of dairy products decreased by 23% compared to previous periods. However, the success of ice cream demonstrates a high demand for Ukrainian sweets in the international market and the ability of domestic enterprises to adapt to the requirements of foreign consumers.
The further development of the dairy industry will depend on the stability of production and logistical capabilities. Successes in ice cream exports are an important indicator that the Ukrainian food industry remains competitive on the world stage.
