Ukraine receives 50 million euros for compensation for destroyed housing

Ukraine has secured 50 million euros in financial aid, which will be directed toward paying compensation to citizens whose homes were destroyed as a result of Russian aggression. These funds will help thousands of Ukrainian families restore their homes or purchase new housing.

The receipt of the funding was announced by the head of the Ukraine Development Fund. The resources raised are part of international support aimed at overcoming the consequences of the war and providing social protection for the population. The state continues to work to ensure that every affected person can receive appropriate assistance through the state program "eRecovery" (єВідновлення).

The funds will be distributed through a special mechanism that allows Ukrainians to receive certificates for the purchase of real estate or funding for construction work. This is an important step in supporting internally displaced persons and those who have been left homeless due to constant shelling.

The Government of Ukraine emphasizes that the issue of housing remains one of its priority tasks. Despite the difficult economic situation and defense expenditures, the state continues to seek opportunities to attract international investments and grants for the reconstruction of the country.

The process of processing applications from citizens who submitted documents through the "Diia" app is currently underway. It is expected that thanks to the new funds, the queue for receiving compensation will be significantly reduced, and the payment process will become faster and more transparent.
