Ukraine to receive over 7 billion euros from the EU by the end of the year
The European Union continues to support the Ukrainian economy amidst the war. The Council of the EU recently officially approved another tranche of financial assistance for Ukraine as part of the major Ukraine Facility program.
The total amount of the eighth payment is nearly 3 billion euros. These funds are part of a large-scale support plan aimed at stabilizing the state budget and financing essential social expenditures in the country.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the country is expected to receive a total of over 7 billion euros under this program by the end of the current year. This money will help the government pay salaries and pensions on time and maintain the operation of critical infrastructure.
The Ukraine Facility program is an important part of the long-term cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union. It provides not only financial assistance but also the implementation of necessary reforms for Ukraine's future integration into the European community.
Receiving these funds is an important signal for international partners and investors. It confirms that Ukraine remains a reliable partner that, despite difficult wartime conditions, continues to work on the development of its economy.
