Ministry of Agrarian Policy plans to change agricultural export priorities
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is working on new rules for the export of agricultural products. This decision is driven by the difficult logistics conditions currently observed in the country. The authorities aim to optimize the transportation of goods abroad to make the process more efficient.
According to the new initiative, sunflower oil will receive priority in the export queue. This means that oil producers will have an advantage when using limited transport capacities. At the same time, the export of meal may be temporarily restricted or pushed to the background.
Such changes are intended to help Ukrainian farmers better adapt to current challenges. Due to the war and the blockade of sea routes, Ukraine's logistical capabilities remain limited, so the state is forced to choose the most strategically important goods for foreign markets.
Currently, the Ministry is working out the details of this decision. It is expected that the new rules will help stabilize the agricultural sector and ensure the fulfillment of export contracts for the most in-demand products. In the near future, the agency is expected to publish official documents regarding the implementation of these changes.
