Office of the Prosecutor General comments on overnight NABU searches
The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine has issued an official statement regarding the events that took place overnight at the agency's premises. Representatives of the Prosecutor's Office confirmed that investigative actions were carried out by detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
According to the agency, the searches took place as part of a special operation codenamed "Carthage." This operation is aimed at identifying and investigating potential corruption offenses within state structures. At present, details of the case remain limited due to the confidentiality of the investigation.
In its statement, the Office of the Prosecutor General emphasized its readiness to cooperate with anti-corruption bodies. Representatives of the Prosecutor's Office noted that they are providing NABU detectives with the necessary access to documents and information to ensure an objective investigation of the case.
At this moment, no official suspicions have been brought against any specific individuals in connection with this case. Investigative actions are ongoing, and law enforcement agencies promise to provide more information after the completion of the first stage of the verification process.
