President Zelenskyy criticizes Kyiv authorities for failing to implement the Resilience Plan
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has criticized the Kyiv city authorities. According to the head of state, the local leadership of the capital has almost completely ignored the implementation of important steps provided for within the framework of the national Resilience Plan.
The Resilience Plan was developed to strengthen the defense capability and security of Ukrainian cities under martial law. It includes a number of measures aimed at protecting critical infrastructure, organizing the operation of "Points of Invincibility," and ensuring the stable functioning of the municipal economy during potential blackouts or attacks.
The President emphasized that the fulfillment of these tasks is mandatory for all regions; however, the situation in Kyiv is causing serious concern. The failure to implement security measures jeopardizes the comfort and safety of the capital's residents, who face the challenges of war every day.
As of now, there has been no official response from the Kyiv City Administration regarding these remarks. Citizens are awaiting an explanation of the situation and swift steps to rectify the shortcomings, as preparation for the winter period and ensuring safety remain the main priorities for the country.
