Ukraine to receive licenses for the production of missiles for Patriot systems
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced important agreements with the United States of America. According to the head of state, the parties have agreed on the transfer of licenses to Ukraine for the production of missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
Patriot systems are among the most effective air defense assets, helping to protect Ukrainian cities from Russian missile attacks. The ability to independently manufacture ammunition for these systems will significantly strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities.
This decision is part of a long-term security cooperation between Kyiv and Washington. Domestic missile production will allow Ukraine to not rely solely on supplies from foreign partners and to respond more quickly to aerial threats.
At present, details regarding the timelines for the start of production and the technical aspects of the project's implementation have not been disclosed. However, experts note that such cooperation is an important step toward strengthening the Ukrainian military-industrial complex and the security of the entire country.
