The search for a new Prosecutor General continues in Ukraine
Following the recent resignation of Andriy Kostin from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine, the question of appointing his successor remains open. At present, an official candidate for this responsible position has not yet been selected.
According to sources from the NV publication, the process of finding a suitable candidate is still ongoing. The authorities are carefully considering possible options to find a specialist who can lead the work of the Prosecutor's Office under martial law.
The Prosecutor General's Office plays a key role in ensuring law and order and investigating war crimes. Therefore, the choice of a new leader is an important step for the state system that requires time and well-considered decisions.
At this moment, no official names of contenders have been released. It is expected that in the near future, the authorities will present a candidate, who must subsequently be approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
