Spotify plans to launch audiobook service in Ukraine by the end of 2026
Spotify, one of the most popular streaming services in the world, has announced a large-scale expansion of its audiobook library. According to an official statement, the service plans to enter new markets, including Ukraine, by the end of 2026.
Currently, the audiobook listening service is available in only 22 countries worldwide. However, the company intends to gradually increase this number to over 180 markets. This decision will allow millions of users in different parts of the globe to access a vast collection of literary works directly within the app.
For Ukrainian users, this means that in the future, they will be able to conveniently listen to books without switching between different applications. Spotify has long been a part of the daily lives of Ukrainians thanks to music and podcasts, so the arrival of audiobooks will be a logical continuation of the platform's development in our region.
Although exact details regarding the availability of Ukrainian-language content have not yet been disclosed, the expansion of the service is an important event for Ukraine's digital market. It demonstrates that international technology giants continue to pay attention to Ukrainian consumers and integrate new services for our audience.
Users will have to wait for further updates from the company. It is expected that the implementation of this feature will take place in stages over the next two years.
