Digital Jungle educational project for developing media literacy among schoolchildren launches in Ukraine
In October 2026, a large-scale educational project called Digital Jungle will launch in Ukraine. This initiative is aimed at increasing the level of media literacy and critical thinking among Ukrainian students. The project will cover 500 schools across the country, providing children with the opportunity to gain modern knowledge about safety in the digital space.
A key event will be the international Digital Jungle Ukraine forum, which will take place on October 10–11 in Kyiv. The event will bring together experts, educators, and youth to discuss the challenges faced by internet users in the modern world. Forum participants will be able to exchange experiences and learn about new methods of combating disinformation.
One of the main features of the project is an XR exhibition. The use of extended reality technologies will allow schoolchildren to study complex topics in an engaging and interactive way. This will help children better understand how information flows work and how to recognize manipulations online.
The organizers emphasize that the ability to critically evaluate information is a crucial skill in the modern world. Thanks to Digital Jungle, students will be able to become more confident users of digital technologies and will learn to take a responsible approach to the content they consume every day.
This project is an important step for the Ukrainian education system. Involving 500 schools in the initiative will help shape a new generation of Ukrainians who will be resilient to information threats and able to effectively navigate the global digital space.
