Ukraine and Lithuania strengthen cooperation in the medical field
Ukraine and Lithuania have agreed to expand their partnership in the medical sector. Representatives of both governments discussed new steps for the development of international medical cooperation, which is extremely important during martial law.
The main focus during the meeting was on the exchange of experience between doctors and the implementation of modern treatment technologies. Lithuanian specialists are ready to provide consultations to their Ukrainian colleagues, as well as to assist in the rehabilitation of military personnel and civilians who have suffered as a result of hostilities.
In addition, the parties discussed the supply of medical equipment and medicines to Ukrainian hospitals. Such support will help improve the quality of medical services in regions most in need of assistance and ensure the stable operation of the healthcare system.
This partnership is part of a broader initiative aimed at integrating Ukrainian medicine into the European space. Both countries confirmed their intention to continue joint projects that will help save lives and restore the health of Ukrainians during these difficult times.
