Ukraine returns 9-year-old girl from occupation
Ukraine has managed to carry out another successful operation to rescue a child. A 9-year-old girl, who had been in the occupied territory for a long time, was successfully returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region.
The child is now safe. Specialists are working with her, providing the necessary psychological and medical assistance. Bringing children home remains one of the top priorities for the Ukrainian government and relevant services.
The process of returning children from occupation is complex and lengthy. Each such operation requires careful preparation and coordination between various government agencies, human rights activists, and volunteers. Despite the danger, the work to liberate young Ukrainians continues every day.
The Ukrainian authorities urge citizens who have information about children in the occupied territories to report it to the relevant institutions. Every report helps bring closer the moment when children will be able to return to their families in safe regions of Ukraine.
