Over 74,000 Ukrainians received medical assistance from the Red Cross
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society has summarized its work for the first half of 2026. The organization focused on healthcare measures and disease prevention among the population most in need of support.
According to official data, more than 74,000 people received assistance over the six-month period. These measures included not only medical consultations but also information campaigns aimed at preventing the spread of diseases in today's challenging conditions.
Red Cross volunteers and specialists worked actively in various regions of the country. They helped citizens monitor their health and provided necessary recommendations for maintaining immunity and household safety.
Such initiatives are extremely important for Ukrainians living under constant stress and with limited access to medical services. Prevention remains the primary tool for preserving the health of many families.
Representatives of the Red Cross plan to continue their activities in the coming months. The organization encourages citizens to reach out to their centers for support and to follow updates regarding new assistance programs.
