Ukraine and Slovenia strengthen cooperation in the field of defense technologies
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an official meeting with a delegation from Slovenia. The main topic of the negotiations was the strengthening of defense cooperation between the two states and support for the Ukrainian security sector.
A key issue of the meeting was the preparation of an agreement known as the "Drone Deal." This project is aimed at developing the production and supply of unmanned aerial vehicles, which play an important role in modern combat operations. The parties discussed the initial results of this initiative and opportunities for its expansion.
In addition to drones, representatives of Ukraine and Slovenia discussed other joint defense projects. Both countries are committed to long-term cooperation that will help strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and ensure stability in the region.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue. Such support from European partners is an important part of international efforts aimed at assisting Ukraine in the context of a full-scale war.
