Germany allocates 1 million euros to support nuclear safety in Ukraine
The German government has announced a decision to allocate an additional 1 million euros to strengthen nuclear safety within Ukraine. These funds will serve as an important contribution to the stability of the energy sector, which continues to operate under martial law.
Financial assistance will be directed toward supporting the activities of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Experts from this organization are working continuously at Ukrainian nuclear power plants to monitor compliance with safety protocols and prevent potential emergency situations.
Ensuring the safety of nuclear facilities remains one of the top priorities for Ukraine and its international partners. The constant presence of IAEA representatives allows for the receipt of objective information regarding the status of the plants and enables a prompt response to any challenges arising from military operations.
This step by Germany demonstrates consistent support for Ukraine in the sphere of energy security. It is expected that the allocated funds will help strengthen monitoring and ensure the stable operation of critical infrastructure in the coming period.
