In September, 61 Ukrainian patients were sent abroad for treatment
In September, the Lviv Regional Emergency Medical Center organized the evacuation of 61 patients to medical facilities abroad. This initiative is part of a state program that helps Ukrainians receive necessary care in specialized clinics across Europe and the world.
Along with the patients, 21 individuals accompanied them to the hospitals, providing assistance to the sick during transport. The evacuation process requires careful preparation, as medical professionals must ensure the safe transport of people with various health conditions.
In addition to sending patients for treatment, the center's specialists also handle the return of citizens home. After the successful completion of therapy or surgeries, patients are repatriated back to Ukraine, where they can continue their rehabilitation.
This work is an important part of Ukraine's medical system during the war. Thanks to international cooperation, Ukrainian patients gain access to modern technologies and treatment methods that help them recover faster and return to a full life.
