Experts discuss the possibility of partial export of Ukrainian gas
Ukrainian energy experts are exploring new ways to develop the gas production industry under wartime conditions. One proposal is to allow the controlled export of a portion of the gas produced in Ukraine abroad.
According to specialists, such a step could become an important source of funding for gas production companies. The funds received from the sale of the resource could be directed by enterprises toward drilling new wells and modernizing equipment.
Currently, production companies require significant investment to maintain and increase production volumes. Experts believe that the opportunity to sell a portion of gas on foreign markets will increase the industry's attractiveness to investors and help attract additional capital.
At the same time, any changes in export policy require careful state control. The main priority for Ukraine remains ensuring the domestic needs of the population and industry, especially during the heating season.
