Ukrainian farmers have harvested over 3 million tons of new crop grain
Ukrainian agricultural enterprises have begun active harvesting for the 2024 season. As of mid-July, farmers have already threshed 763 thousand hectares of sown area, which accounts for approximately 6% of the total projected volume.
According to official data, the total grain harvest has already exceeded the 3.1 million ton mark. This is an important indicator for the country's food security, demonstrating the stable work of farmers despite the difficult conditions of wartime.
The harvest is most active in the southern and central regions of Ukraine, where climatic conditions allowed work to begin earlier. Leading regions are already reporting their first significant results, which align with expert expectations regarding the yield of major crops.
Despite difficulties related to logistics and the security situation, Ukrainian farmers are continuing the harvest campaign. The government and relevant ministries are closely monitoring the process to ensure proper conditions for the storage and subsequent export of the harvested produce.
The harvest will continue over the coming months. It is expected that farms in the northern and western regions of Ukraine will join the active work in the near future, which will allow for a gradual increase in overall crop indicators.
