Defense Procurement Agency begins mass procurement of FPV drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced the start of the procurement process for FPV drones. This is an important step in providing the Ukrainian military with modern strike capabilities that play a key role on the battlefield.
Previously, the procurement of such drones was primarily handled by volunteer organizations and individual military units. Now, the state is taking responsibility for the systematic supply of drones to the army, which will allow for the standardization of equipment and an increase in supply volumes for the front line.
Procurements will be conducted based on clearly defined technical specifications. This means that manufacturers must meet certain standards of quality and efficiency for their products to be used by the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This approach will help select the best models that are reliable and easy to operate.
In addition to purchasing equipment, the Agency plans to establish long-term cooperation with Ukrainian manufacturers. This stimulates the development of the domestic defense-industrial complex and will allow for a faster response to the needs of the military directly on the front line.
Equipping the army with a large number of FPV drones is one of the main priorities of Ukraine's defense policy. It is expected that centralized procurement will help make the supply process more transparent and efficient, which will directly impact the combat effectiveness of Ukrainian units.
