McDonald’s reduces menu in Ukraine following Russian attack on warehouse
McDonald’s has announced a temporary reduction in its menu across all restaurants in Ukraine. This decision was made after a Russian drone attack damaged a warehouse belonging to one of the chain’s main logistics partners.
According to company representatives, the damage to infrastructure has significantly impacted product supply chains. Specialists are currently working to restore stable operations and bring back the full menu for customers as soon as possible.
At this time, there may be a limited selection of certain items at the chain's locations. The company urges customers to be understanding of the situation and to monitor updates in the mobile app, where current information regarding the availability of dishes at each specific restaurant is displayed.
This incident is yet another example of how Russian shelling of civilian infrastructure affects the operations of large businesses in Ukraine. Despite the difficult conditions, the chain continues to operate in many regions of the country, providing jobs and service to Ukrainians.
