Assistance to Ukraine strengthens the security of all of Europe, says Office of the President
Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva held an important meeting with a delegation from the European External Action Service. The main topic of the negotiations was the continuation of support for Ukraine from the European Union and the strengthening of cooperation in the security sphere.
During the meeting, Ihor Zhovkva emphasized that aid to Ukraine today is not just support for our state in the fight for independence. It is also a strategic investment in the development of the European defense complex. According to the representative of the Office of the President, strengthening Ukraine's defense capability directly affects the security of the entire European Union.
The parties discussed further steps to deepen the partnership. In particular, they talked about joint projects that will help European countries more quickly increase the production of necessary military equipment and ammunition. This will allow Europe's defense system to become more resilient to modern challenges.
Representatives of the European External Action Service confirmed their readiness to continue the dialogue and provide the necessary assistance. They expressed support for Ukraine's efforts in reforming the security sector and moving closer to European standards.
