Ukraine has received 1.2 billion euros in financial assistance from the European Union
Ukraine has received another tranche of financial assistance from the European Union. The total amount of the new funds transferred to the state budget is 1.2 billion euros. These funds were provided as part of a special support program called the Ukraine Support Loan.
This financial assistance is an important part of the international support that the EU is providing to Ukraine during the full-scale war. The received resources will be directed toward strengthening the country's defense capabilities and ensuring the stability of public finances under difficult conditions.
The Ukraine Support Loan program provides for long-term loans on favorable terms. European partners continue to support Ukraine so that the state can effectively resist aggression and ensure the operation of critical economic sectors.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine confirmed receipt of the funds and noted that this assistance will help cover priority budget expenditures. Cooperation with the European Union remains a key factor for Ukraine's economic resilience in 2024.
