Large-scale counterfeit perfume production uncovered in Kharkiv region
Law enforcement agencies in Ukraine have reported a successful operation in the Kharkiv region, where a large underground facility for the production of counterfeit perfumes was shut down. The perpetrators were manufacturing copies of famous global brands, passing them off as original products.
During searches of the production premises, police seized more than 560,000 bottles of perfume. The large quantity of finished products indicates the significant scale of the criminal group's operations, which had been supplying fakes to the Ukrainian market.
Currently, law enforcement officers are conducting investigative actions to identify everyone involved in organizing this business. The seized goods have been sent for examination, and a criminal proceeding has been opened for the illegal use of trademarks.
This event is an important step in the fight against counterfeit products in Ukraine. Experts remind consumers that perfume should only be purchased in official stores to avoid buying low-quality goods that could be hazardous to health.
