The Armed Forces of Ukraine congratulated Poland on Polish Army Day
On August 15, Poland celebrates a national holiday — Polish Army Day. This day is very important for the Polish people, as it is dedicated to honoring the memory of the country's heroes and historical victories.
The main event commemorated on this day is the victory in the Battle of Warsaw in 1920. At that time, Polish troops were able to stop the advance of Bolshevik forces, which was of great importance for preserving Poland's independence and the security of all of Europe.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially congratulated their Polish colleagues on the holiday. In their address, the Ukrainian military expressed respect for the Polish army and thanked them for the support that Poland provides to Ukraine during the current fight for freedom.
Today's cooperation between Ukraine and Poland is extremely important. Poland remains one of Ukraine's main partners, providing both military and humanitarian aid. This holiday underscores the strong friendly ties between the two nations, which together strive for peace and stability in the region.
