New tourist route "Ghosts of the Shtetls" appears on the "Mandruy Ukrainoyu" platform
A new tourist route titled "Ghosts of the Shtetls" has appeared on the popular state platform "Mandruy Ukrainoyu" (Travel Ukraine). This project was developed to popularize the history and culture of small towns in the Lviv region that possess a rich past.
The total length of the route is approximately 200 kilometers. It passes through several historical settlements, including Lviv, Zhovkva, Velyki Mosty, Sheptytskyi, Sokal, and Belz. Each of these towns features unique architecture and interesting historical chapters connected to Jewish culture, which was once an integral part of the region's life.
The main goal of the initiative is to draw the attention of Ukrainians and foreign tourists to domestic tourism. The developers of the route hope that traveling through these towns will help people better understand the heritage of Galicia and support local businesses that are developing tourism infrastructure.
