Average salary in Ukraine has increased: new data from the State Statistics Service
The State Statistics Service of Ukraine has released fresh data on the level of household income. According to official information, the average salary in the country showed positive dynamics in June, increasing by 5.9% compared to the previous month.
Currently, the average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine is 32,783 hryvnias. This growth indicates gradual changes in the labor market, despite the difficult economic conditions caused by the full-scale war.
Economists note that the increase in these figures may be linked to the revision of tariff rates in certain sectors of the economy and efforts by employers to retain qualified personnel. However, it is worth remembering that these data are national averages and can vary significantly depending on the region and the industry of activity.
Despite the growth in nominal income, experts advise taking into account the inflation rate, which affects the purchasing power of Ukrainians. Statistics demonstrate a general trend, but the real well-being of citizens depends on many factors, including the prices of essential goods and services.
Government agencies continue to monitor the economic situation to ensure the stability of payments in the public sector. It is expected that future reports from the State Statistics Service will help to better understand the trends in labor market development in the coming months.
