Ukraine and Serbia strengthen cooperation in agriculture and food safety

Ukraine and Serbia have taken an important step toward deepening bilateral relations. Representatives of both countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding concerning cooperation in the field of animal health and food safety.

On the Ukrainian side, the document was signed by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia, Oleksandr Lytvynenko. Serbia was represented at the meeting by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Dragan Glamočić. This event underscores the commitment of both states to improving product quality standards.

The main goal of the signed memorandum is to establish an exchange of experience and information between specialists from the two countries. The parties plan to work together on food quality control and implement modern methods of veterinary supervision that meet international requirements.

Such cooperation is important for the development of Ukraine's agricultural sector. It will help Ukrainian producers better adapt to European standards and will contribute to the growth of our country's export potential in the international market.

The signing of this document is part of Ukraine's strategy to expand partnerships with European countries. It is expected that in the near future, specialists from both countries will begin the practical implementation of joint projects provided for by the memorandum.
