The European Union will continue training Ukrainian soldiers for another two years
The European Union has made an important decision regarding support for Ukraine in the defense sector. EU member states have officially agreed to extend the special training mission EUMAM Ukraine, which helps train Ukrainian military personnel.
This program will continue for another two years. The EUMAM Ukraine mission was created to provide Ukrainian defenders with the necessary knowledge and skills that are critically important during combat operations. The training includes both basic preparation and specialized courses for operating various types of equipment.
Thanks to this initiative, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have already undergone professional training on the territory of European Union countries. This helps to increase the effectiveness of the Ukrainian army and ensure better interoperability with international partners.
The extension of the mission is evidence that the European Union remains a reliable partner for Ukraine. Such support is part of a broader EU strategy aimed at assisting Ukraine in its fight for independence and security.
