Denmark allocates $275 million to strengthen Ukraine's air defense system
The Danish government has announced a new aid package for Ukraine aimed at strengthening its air defense. The total amount of funding is $275 million. These funds will be used to purchase necessary equipment and weaponry to protect Ukrainian cities and critical infrastructure from aerial attacks.
Denmark is one of Ukraine's most active partners in the security sphere. Previously, the country has already provided artillery systems, ammunition, and other military equipment. The new aid package is part of a long-term support strategy that the Danish government has coordinated with the Ukrainian side to ensure a stable defense.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasized that strengthening air defense remains a top priority. Modern protection systems allow for the more effective interception of enemy missiles and drones, which saves the lives of civilians and preserves the country's energy facilities ahead of the winter period.
In addition to financial support, Denmark is also involved in training Ukrainian specialists and assisting in infrastructure restoration. Such cooperation demonstrates the strong partnership between the two countries and the readiness of the international community to continue supporting Ukraine until the end of the war.
