Ukraine exported over 2 million dollars worth of snails in six months
In the first six months of 2026, Ukraine exported 480 tons of mollusks. The total value of these products amounted to 2.4 million US dollars.
Despite stable demand on the international market, supply volumes have decreased slightly. Compared to the same period last year, snail exports fell by 3.8%.
Cultivating and exporting mollusks is a niche but important area for the Ukrainian agricultural sector. Ukrainian producers continue to supply their products to European Union countries and other regions of the world.
Despite the slight decline in figures, the industry remains active. Experts note that the development of this business depends on international quality standards and the logistical capabilities of Ukrainian farmers.
