Vadym Stolar has returned to Ukraine ahead of a court hearing
People's Deputy Vadym Stolar has returned to Ukraine on the eve of an important High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) hearing. His arrival is linked to the need for personal participation in legal proceedings concerning his activities.
According to sources, the politician plans to make efforts to protect his business empire. The main goal of his return is to maintain control over his assets, which could be at risk due to investigations by law enforcement agencies.
It is reported that Stolar has prepared a sum of 300 million hryvnias for bail. Furthermore, according to media reports, he is considering the possibility of reaching a plea deal to minimize legal risks for himself and his business.
Currently, the situation remains at the stage of judicial review. The deputy's future actions will depend on the decisions made by the High Anti-Corruption Court during the upcoming hearings.
