“Army of Robots”: Ukraine prepares for large-scale robotization of the battlefield
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has announced the launch of an ambitious new project aimed at developing defense technologies. The main goal of this initiative is the introduction of robotics on the battlefield, which is intended to change the approach to modern warfare.
According to representatives of the ministry, the development of defense tech sectors is one of the state's priority tasks. The use of unmanned systems and robotic complexes allows for more effective execution of combat missions while minimizing risks to the lives of Ukrainian soldiers.
The project involves the creation of an entire “army of robots” that will be integrated into the country's defense system. Developers plan to scale up the production of equipment capable of performing various functions: from reconnaissance and demining to logistical support for units on the front line.
Ukraine already has successful experience in creating technological solutions for the front, which have received global recognition. This new stage of robotization will help consolidate these positions and provide the Ukrainian army with modern tools to protect the state's territorial integrity.
It is expected that the implementation of these technologies will take place in stages. The government continues to cooperate with Ukrainian engineers and manufacturers to provide the army with the necessary amount of innovative equipment in the shortest possible time.
