Russia rejects truce: statements from the Russian Foreign Ministry
The Russian Federation has officially stated that it does not plan to cease hostilities on the territory of Ukraine. The head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, announced that the Kremlin is not considering the possibility of "freezing" the conflict along the front line.
According to the Russian minister, Moscow does not intend to agree to a truce with Ukraine. Lavrov also commented on the potential consequences for the Ukrainian side, threatening continued active attacks on military and infrastructure facilities.
This statement confirms that the position of the Russian leadership remains unchanged. Russia continues to ignore calls for a diplomatic settlement of the war, insisting on the continuation of military aggression against Ukraine.
Ukrainian authorities and international partners have repeatedly emphasized that any "freezing" of the conflict on the aggressor's terms is unacceptable. Currently, the situation on the front remains tense, and the Ukrainian military continues to defend its territories.
The international community continues to monitor the development of events. Despite threats from Russian officials, Ukraine remains committed to the strategy of defending its own sovereignty and territorial integrity.
