The "Carpathian Movement" project: how sports help teenagers from frontline regions
The Rating sociological group has presented the results of a study on the impact of sports on the mental health of teenagers. The presentation took place as part of the "Carpathian Movement" social project, which is aimed at supporting children from frontline territories of Ukraine.
During the event, experts discussed how physical activity helps young people overcome stress caused by the war. According to specialists, regular training not only strengthens physical health but also becomes an important tool for psychological rehabilitation for children living in difficult conditions.
The "Carpathian Movement" project provides an opportunity for teenagers from affected regions to visit the Carpathians, where they can engage in sports, socialize with peers, and receive professional psychological support. The organizers emphasize that such initiatives are critically important for restoring the emotional state of children.
The Rating study confirms that sports promote socialization and reduce anxiety levels. Project participants note an improvement in mood and the emergence of new goals after active recreation and sports in a safe environment.
In conclusion, the project representatives emphasized that they plan to continue working with children and attract more partners. Supporting the mental health of young people remains one of the main priorities for the future recovery of Ukrainian society.
