Norway to provide Ukraine with over 100 million dollars in financial aid
The Norwegian government has announced the allocation of a new financial aid package for Ukraine. The total amount of support exceeds 100 million dollars. These funds will be directed toward stabilizing the state budget and ensuring the operation of critical social services in the country.
This aid is part of a large-scale support program that Norway is implementing in cooperation with international partners. The funding will help the Ukrainian government continue paying salaries to teachers, doctors, and other public sector employees, as well as support the operation of hospitals and schools during these difficult wartime conditions.
Norwegian authorities emphasize that the stability of the Ukrainian economy is an essential condition for the state's resilience. In addition to direct budgetary support, Norway continues to provide Ukraine with military aid, including air defense systems and artillery shells for protection against Russian aggression.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Norway has become one of Ukraine's largest donors. Beyond financial resources, the country is actively assisting in the restoration of energy infrastructure, which has suffered significant damage due to shelling.
This move by the Norwegian government demonstrates the unwavering support for Ukraine from European partners. It is expected that the funds will reach the state budget in the near future, which will allow the government to effectively plan expenditures for the coming months.
