WHO to audit quality of services at Rivne Mental Health Center
The World Health Organization (WHO) in Ukraine is launching a large-scale audit of the Rivne Regional Mental Health Center. Experts from the organization aim to assess the quality of medical services provided at this facility.
The main task of the specialists will be a three-level evaluation of the institution's operations. Particular attention during the audit will be paid to the issue of human rights compliance. This is an important step toward ensuring that patients receive care in accordance with international standards.
This initiative is part of a broader cooperation between Ukrainian medical institutions and international organizations. The goal is to improve conditions for patients and make the psychiatric care system more transparent and safe.
The results of this assessment will help the center's administration understand which specific aspects of their work require changes or additional investment. It is expected that the findings of the WHO experts will serve as a basis for the further development of psychiatric services in the region.
